• Everybody needs help at some point!

  • Proverbs 12:15 ESV
The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but a wise man listens to advice.

The counsel and course that our own mind suggests in ordering our life may seem “right in our own eyes”, but God tells us a “wise man listens to advice.”

All of us need counsel at some point. We each face difficulties and decisions in life that require a specific course of action on our part. Sometimes, the stress that we feel when facing these sorts of things can be overwhelming. There are many places we can receive counsel. We can talk to our friends, our spouse, our co-workers or even our parents. And while we may receive good counsel from these sources, it’s important to remember the best counsel comes from God and from His Word.

All of our students are taught to utilize the Word of God, Prayer and godly admonition when counseling somebody. It’s our belief that when we hearken unto the Word of God we are able to look deeper within ourselves, and in doing so, we are able to see the areas in our life that need to be worked on.

The Bible tells us that our life counts! He has made us a New Creation (Galatians 6:15). He has given us the Holy Spirit (John 6:63). We get to walk in Faith, Love and Obedience (Heb. 11:6; 1 Cor. 13:1; John 15:10). Surely there is hope for a brighter tomorrow?

If you need help, don’t put it off. Seek out a Christian Counselor or Pastor and take some time to really deal with your situation. It won’t go away by ignoring it.
